Event details We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Eldon Society Dinner for all past and present undergraduates, postgraduates, Fellows and lecturers of Law at Univ, and practising lawyers, past and present. After dinner, Ian Grainger (1974, Law), Circuit Judge at Reading Crown Court, will be our guest speaker.
We very much hope that you will want to join us with your Univ friends; the Development Office will be glad to help you contact your contemporaries where possible. The cost per person, which covers the whole programme, is £40 for Old Members and £25 for current Univ students. There is very limited College accommodation available on a first-come, first-served basis; to reserve a room, please contact the Development Office on +44 (0)1865 276 682. Additionally, there is a list of Oxford guesthouses and hotels available at www.univalumni.org/visit.
As there is no parking available in College, we highly recommend the excellent Oxford Park & Ride system. From the Thornhill Park & Ride (near the end of the A40), buses stop on the High Street just across from Queen's Lane, close to Univ’s main entrance. Alternatively, there is a metered car park just after the Plain on St Clements. Parking in Merton Street is now metered from 8am-10pm daily. The Oxford Tube and X90 Express buses stop outside Univ for easy access to and from London.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Development Office on +44 (0)1865 276 682 or at development@univ.ox.ac.uk
